Introduction

Juana del Pozo Sainz was born in Gijón (Spain), but Zaragoza became her current residence place. From over 30 years ago she has been working in Enamel Arts with enthusiastic craftman´s care.

In 1969 she finished her formation in artistic drawing in "Estudio Cañada" school.  After that, she adquired some experience in subjects like oil and water painting, ceramics, embossing, and chiselling. Finally she focused her attention in Enamel Arts.  She got such discipline´s diploma in the "Escuela de Arte de Zaragoza" in 1980, where also won the "1st Accesit" award at that year´s school closing contest.

For several years she was teaching Enamel Arts at the same time as she aquired the Specialization in Jewelry in the "Vicente Bazan" school, and from then she never quit updating her knowledges in several techniques like Champlevé, Croissoné, and in some areas like Gemology, Microfusion, etc.

Juana has been present at every International Biennial Exhibition of Enamel Arts of Limoges (France) between 1980 and 1998, and she has received lessons from some reputated personalities like Andreu Vilasís.

Till nowadays her name has appeared in diverse spanish publications, as well as in personal interviews for "Radio Sevilla" and "Televisión Española", and some of her pieces has been exhibited in 5 museums of several spanish cities.

At the present day her personal collection includes over 100 pieces of different styles, which some of them are shown in this web site.
